For many Tri-Cities families, the holidays are for gathering with family and friends and enjoying a wonderful meal. Sadly, so many families right here in the Tri-Cities struggle every day to put food on the table. The need for food donation in our community is great, and even more so this year. That’s why 94.9 The Wolf and our sister stations are teaming up and joining forces with the Tri-Cities area Grocery Outlet stores for a community-wide food drive to fill the shelves of the Tri-Cities Food Bank.
On Friday, November 13th between 2p-6p we’re asking you to HELP feed our neighbors in need. Bring any non-perishable food donations to any of the Grocery Outlet stores in Kennewick, Pasco or Richland. You can also make a cash donation at any location that day as well.
At the Kennewick location, we will have 2 U-Haul U-Boxes courtesy of Jet Towing set up to collect donations, and for every donation, you will get the chance to smash a pumpkin for prizes which could include a Grocery Outlet gift card.
Every contribution helps the Tri-Cities Food Bank serve local families in need. Hunger isn’t just a holiday problem, it’s a year-round reality for too many of our neighbors. Let’s show what the Tri-Cities can do when we come together on Friday November, 13th. Give what you can and help feed our community.
