2026 Richland National Fall Ball League

The Richland National Fall Ball League is getting ready to begin and they’re looking for a few more teams!! Below is information on the upcoming season so if you’re a team looking to participate reach out now before it’s too late.

Fall Ball is intended to provide players with meaningful game repetitions, continued development, and an opportunity to compete while preparing for the upcoming spring and summer season. If you’re interested or have any questions please reach out to Ben Small HERE

AGE/DIVISION STRUCTURE

9U Division:
Teams that will compete as 9U during the 2027 season will play 9U for Fall Ball.

10U Development Division:
Teams that will compete as 10U during the 2027 season will play 10U Development for Fall Ball.

The goal is to have players competing at the age level they will be playing in during the upcoming 2027 season.

LEAGUE FORMAT
8 games per team
One game every Friday
Game times: 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM
September 11 – October 30, 2026
6 innings maximum
1 hour, 45-minute drop-dead time
5-run maximum per inning
3 game balls provided per game
Umpires provided with 1–2 umpire crews depending on availability
No championship or postseason tournament
No game protests

BASE RUNNING
No leading off
No advancing on a dropped third strike
Stealing is permitted on passed balls only

SPORTSMANSHIP
All coaches, players, and families are expected to:

Respect umpires and opposing teams
Demonstrate good sportsmanship
Respect the facility and playing field
Maintain a positive environment for players and families

Umpire decisions during the game are final.

FALL BALL GOAL

Fall Ball is about getting reps, building confidence, developing fundamentals, trying new positions, and preparing players for the 2027 season. Teams can compete while keeping the focus on development and player growth.
