94.9 The Wolf is again in the giving spirit and we’re excited to announce our 7th Annual Christmas Tree of Cash & Prizes presented by STCU. It all began when Jen and her boys decided to deliver toys and gifts to kids in our community that spend Christmas in the hospital. It’s something that has filled their heart and something Jazz and the family started years ago. It’s been a family tradition and again this year we want YOU, our radio family to be apart of it.
Here some items our pediatric centers are looking for:
– Infant toys and teethers (0-12months)
– Toddler toys (12months-2years)
– Stu ed animals and Squishmallow stu ies
– Stress balls
– Fidget and sensory toys (for kids and teens)
– Playdough and Clay
– Lego kits
– Small cars and trucks (ex: Hot Wheels, Matchbox, etc.)
– Decks of playing cards
– Card games (ex: Uno, Phase 10, Skip-Bo, etc.)
– Baby dolls
– Nintendo Switch games (rating: E for everyone)
– Colored Pencils
– Coloring books (for kids and teens)
– Gifts for teens (12-17years)
o Craft and building kits
o Sketching supplies (ex: sketch books, nice pencils, markers, etc.)
o Over-the-door basketball hoops and Sports balls
o Rubik’s cubes and Advanced fidgets
o Spa-like supplies (ex: gift sets, face masks, nail polish, etc.)
o Sports-themed items (ex: College teams, Pro teams, etc.)
For patient safety:
– We are only able to accept items
that are new with tags.
– No items with sharp edges, or
small breakable objects that
potentially could be a choking
hazard.
– No toys that represent violence.
Wonderful gifts that are NOT needed
currently:
– Bicycles and scooters
– Gaming systems (X-box, Nintendo
Switch, etc.)
– Crayons
Now through December 19th(4pm) we’ll be collecting new unwrapped toys here at the 94.9 The Wolf studio in Kennewick and we’re hoping to FILL our studio up. With your help, kids that will be spending the holidays in the hospital will get to see the spirit of Christmas come alive.
Here’s the really cool part… Our Christmas tree here at the studio is full of CASH & Prizes thanks to the Kennewick Police Department Foundation and when you donate a new unwrapped toy, you’ll get to open an envelope as our way of saying thank you!(One envelope per household between 11/18 – 12/19)
